Kilde is winner of DIRA automation award 2024

We, together with AVK International, are the winners of the DIRA - Danish Robot Network Automation Award 2024 🥇

We have custom-designed an automation and robot solution that has enabled AVK International to automate their production of drinking water valves.

Our fully automated solution handles, assembles, and inspects 31 different variants of drinking water valves, weighing from 3.6 to 54 kg.

The solution includes several robotic arms, advanced vision systems, and quality testing through pressure testing. In fact, it consists of 16 processes integrated into one robotic solution. This solution has made it possible for AVK International to scale the production of the drinking water valves up and down as needed.

Moreover, they have improved the quality of the valves, eliminated much of the monotonous, repetitive work, and removed some heavy lifting. At the same time, the Jutland-based company has become more competitive.

We greatly appreciate this recognition, which is also a huge pat on the back for everyone who worked on the project.
